What is Ultrasonic Cavitation?
Ultrasonic cavitation is nonsurgical procedure that uses low-frequency sound waves to break up fat cells. This process heats and vibrates the layer of fat cells below the skin. The pressure eventually causes the fat cells to break down into liquid and its content is released into the bloodstream.
Uses of ultrasonic fat cavitation
Firming the arms, legs, thighs, buttocks, waist, back, abdominal muscles
Helps to relieves stress
Aids is relief of fatigue.
During a treatment, ultrasound gel is applied to the treatment area. A hand-piece is then used to target specific body areas with low-frequency sound waves. The minute vibrations produce tiny bubbles within the fat cells, disturbing the outer membrane, which causes tiny collections of fat to be expelled into the surrounding area. These fatty acids are then processed and eliminated by the body’s lymphatic system. The results can be seen immediately after the first treatment, with optimal results around 6-12 sessions.
Radiofrequency has emerged as a popular non-invasive treatment option for reducing the appearance of fine lines and loose skin. Its principle relies on using radio frequency energy to heat the skin to a precise temperature for a precise amount of time in order to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, thereby tightening the skin.
Radiofrequency can be performed as a standalone treatment for skin tightening or combined with ultrasonic cavitation for complete body contouring.
The generated heat caused local contraction of the collagen fibres which immediately tighten the skin.
New collagen formation
By heating the dermis, new collagen production is stimulated.
Radiofrequency will also improve the blood and lymphatic flow. This helps with a better oxygen supply and greater toxin clearance to further reduce the effects of ageing.
Benefits of using energy based devices
Non invasive procedure
Short treatment times
No recovery time
Minimal side effects
Energy based devices vs surgical intervention
No incisions or scars
No anesthesia with unwarranted potential complications)
No risk of fat embolism
No bleeding problems
No extended post operative recovery
No risk of infections
No post operative medication
In addition, some fat reduction procedures also provide a certain degree of skin tightening as an added bonus, and counteract the after effects of lipolysis (i.e. sagging skin).
What kind of results can I expect?
Volume reduction of fatty layers
Body shaping and contouring
Skin tightening and reduced dimpling when applied in conjunction with radio frequency
